Written for Karen Pavelka’s Materials in Libraries, Archives & Museums course, Keeping It All in One Place reviews the history of nitrate film preservation’s public face, from the “Nitrate Won’t Wait” movement of the 1970s to the “restoration demonstration” special features of today. The paper showcases an understanding of the historical practices around nitrate film archiving and handling.
